Hydroclimatology
Exploration of the climatic, meteorological, and geographic processes that determine water availability for human use and vegetation growth across Earths ecosystems. Precipitation in tropical and extratropical weather systems; climate and land-surface factors that drive runoff, evaporation and photosynthesis; effects of long-term climate and CO2 changes.
