HIST 4799

Honors Research and Thesis

The final course in a required two-course sequence for Honors in History. Students write an article-style honors thesis of 25-45 pages and successfully defend it before a faculty committee. A grade for A for the thesis is required to earn honors. Students earning a passing grade on their completed thesis meet the departments senior research seminar requirement ( HIST 4600 ).
