Advanced Dynamic Meteorology

An in-depth examination of atmospheric dynamics, focusing on the structure and evolution of synoptic and mesoscale weather systems, wave dynamics (Rossby, topographic, inertia-gravity, etc.), scale-analysis, non-dimensional numbers, and atmospheric modeling. Three hours of combined lecture and lab per week.
