Instrumental Ensemble Techniques

An introduction to the band and orchestra instruments most often found in school instrumental music programs for pre-service choral/general music teachers. Students explore how to effectively rehearse, manage, and perform with an instrumental ensemble. Students also explore the acoustics, sound production, and basic techniques of instruments in the brass, woodwind, string, and percussion families.
