Investigating Reading Curriculum

Examination of the current models and theories for teaching reading; the best practices for literacy growth and development; the instructional tools and techniques available to the teacher of literacy; and the materials for use in teaching reading in grades K 8. Emphasis is on teaching through a balanced literacy approach. Includes 10 hours of field experience.
