Computer-Aided Design for Theatre

The study of the use of the computer-aided design (CAD), with special emphasis on how it relates to design for the stage. The course begins at a rudimentary level of understanding of CAD, progresses to 2D, and then to 3D techniques using Vectorworks. Students develop an understanding of how CAD software can be used to understand, imagine, create, and share concepts and techniques for stage design.
