QR: Introduction to Semantics

Students will engage with language as a logical system and explore how it is that linguistic utterances mean what they mean. They will learn to express linguistic constituents as logical expressions. Other topics include modification, entailments, quantification, negation, and idioms. Cross-listed with: LING 163.
