Awesome school!! Great professors!! The academics are top notch but the students also know how to let loose and have fun. A great school if you like to both work hard and play hard.

The environment at the University of Virginia is amazing; anyone can find their community within the large grounds of UVA. There are a lot of different classes to take that are very interesting and the professors actually care how you do as long as you put in the effort to talk to them. Personally, I haven't seen a ton of diversity in the staff or the students so that is one thing I would like to see more of. Also there aren't a lot of alternatives to drinking and partying on the weekends.

Love the architecture! The old buildings make it feel homey while the student body are incredibly spirited and motivated. The staff is so kind, and the food is always available and delicious. There are many meal plan options for everyone to choose from. Meal exchanges can be used to get meals from places like Chick Fil A and Subway on grounds! We also have plus dollars that are easy to use at any restaurants on grounds! I always enjoy eating in grounds before and after classes!

I loved my time at UVA, I made some of my best friends there, and I always love going back! The school is not exceptionally diverse; however, the administration does everything within their power to make sure everyone feels welcome here. The campus is beautiful and there are many great places, both in inside and outside, for studying. My only issue with this university is that there is a very competitive environment that can take a toll on your mental health if you’re not careful.

UVA is an excellent institution. Greek life is an option, though you will be completely fine if you do not join. The school work is intense, but manageable.
